Dr. James Robertson, DVM, Diplomate ACVS (American College of Veterinary Surgeons) is a world renowned equine surgeon. He works with Cleveland Equine Clinic consulting on respiratory issues and video endoscopy which evaluates upper airway disease, as well as soft tissue surgery, oral surgery and reproductive surgery.
Dr. Robertson is a native of British Columbia, Canada and graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in 1973. Following graduation, he completed an internship and residency in Large Animal Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, New Bolton Center. He stayed on at The New Bolton Center as a surgery instructor for two years. In 1978, Dr. Robertson joined the faculty at the Ohio State University (and has since retired) as an Equine Soft Tissue Surgeon. A resident of Hilliard, Ohio, he became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in1981.
